Local honey from local bees
Our wildflower honey is the most versatile of the three. It has a complex and smooth sweetness with fruit and floral overtones.
We source our honey from bees that forage in the Santa Monica and San Gabriel Mountain ranges. Much of this area is in National Parks and Forests and far from intensive agriculture and all of the pollution and pesticides that come with that. We take pride in our commitment to sustainable and ethical beekeeping practices that ensure the well-being of the environment and our bees.
Our Californian Wildflower Honey is always delicious, and the wildflowers that the bees forage on can be ever changing, depending on the time of year and rainfall. Even wildfires will create different fauna for the bees.
No matter the seasonal wildflower variation you will always know that our honey is always pure, local and raw. What is in the jar is exactly what comes out of the hive. We don’t filter or pasteurize the honey. All of the properties like; propolis, enzymes, pollen, and antioxidants are left alone.
Our Sage honey has a crisp delicate flavor with light floral tones and a sweet finish. This honey also has non-crystallizing properties.

Since sage takes years to crystallize you don't have to worry about it being perfect to drizzle on your yogurt or toast!
California Sage flowers are also known as ‘California Gold’ and are special because we don't get it every year. Sage needs a decent amount of rain to be able to grow, and since Southern California has experienced drought for the past few years, we were concerned that soon we will be in short supply. Luckily, this past winters rain means there will be more sage flowers in our future!
And as a reminder to parents of young children our honey can't be given to children aged one year and younger.
Our buckwheat honey is the newest addition to our family! Buckwheat honey is the richest in flavor with earthy, caramel, and nutty tones.
The pink label, inspired by the blush pink and white flowers from the buckwheat flowers, will instantly brighten up any kitchen. Native to California., this flower is particularly loved by honey bees because of their good source of nectar over many months in dry climates.
